Publication frequency is once a year. "International Relations and Dialogue of Cultures" is an open access journal with a wide range of topics in international relations, political science and historical culturology. The journal was founded and is published at the Higher School (Department) of International Relations of the Institute of Humanities of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, one of the leading educational and research centers in Russia. This allows the journal to reflect the most topical research, including that, conducted as part of international cooperation.
The journal is registered in the International System of Periodicals ISSN 2304-9480. The annual collected value "International Relations and Dialogue of Cultures" has been published since 2010, and since 2012 it has been published once a year as a periodical in Russian and English under the title: "International Relations and Dialogue of Cultures"
Preserving traditions of the best Russian university editions, the journal at the same time is open to new ideas and appeals to the international scientific community. Adhering to the ethical principles of scientific publishing, the editorial board seeks to form the journal's portfolio on the basis of the scientific significance and relevance of the articles. Combination of political, historical and cultural research directions allows to create a unique forum for interdisciplinary exchange and creation of new knowledge.

Since 2021, the magazine has been published in English. Original articles, reviews, critiques, commentaries, and reports on scholar events are accepted for publication. When selecting articles the editorial board is guided by the scientific-editorial policy of the edition and observance of the principles of publication ethics. Publication of scientific articles is free of charge for all authors regardless of the place of work. Original scientific articles and scientific reviews are accepted for publication. All articles undergo obligatory blind reviewing.
The publication is indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) / The journal is placed in the following databases: Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI).
The journal is distributed within the leading libraries of Russia, near and far abroad countries.
