Professional biography: She graduated from Leningrad Pedagogical Institute named after Hertzen with a degree in "Teacher of English and German languages" in 1972. She works as an English language lecturer and has 29 years of teaching experience at Saint-Petersburg Polytechnic University. She is an Associate Professor and the topic of her PhD thesis is "Leslie White's Cultural Studies in the context of American Cultural Anthropology”. She has got her tenure at the Higher School of International Relations and teaches the disciplines "Conducting political discourse", "Professionally-oriented course" in English. She has 6 published textbooks and more than 70 scientific papers.
Research interests: Theory and methodology of linguodidactic research, methods and technologies of teaching foreign languages, problems of intercultural communication, subject-language integrated learning.
