RUSSIA IN HISTORIOSOPHICAL JOURNALISM P.G. VINOGRADOV

Abstract:

The article discusses the the philosophical and philosophical and historical journalism medievalist Pavel Gavrilovich Vinogradov (1854-1925). In particular, it analyzes the evaluation Slavophile direction and teaching in Russian thought. The focus is on publicism of emigrant period (after 1901), when P.G. Vinogradov became much more to write on Russian issues. Living in the UK influenced the change in its attitude to Russia. Although he remained faithful to the ideals of liberal Westernism, but began to appreciate the views of Russian national thinkers. Publicistics of P.G. Vinogradov was focused primarily on the Europeans, whom he wanted to introduce the basic facts of Russian history and the basics of Russian philosophy.
