The article analyzes the works of Russian authors, published during recent years and devoted to Russian Federation involvement in the integration processes in the Asia-Pacific Region. Particular attention is paid to the problems associated with the pros and cons of the possible participation of Russia and other members of Eurasian Economic Union in the project of the Silk Road Economic Belt proposed by the People’s Republic of China.
