Soviet-Chinese relations were the objects of many Soviet publications. Images of Chinese “friends” in the Krokodil magazine reflected the changes of internal and external policies of the two states, thus providing material which helps to widen our knowledge of the bilateral relations. Chronological frames are defined by the year of the first issue of the magazine and the year when PRC was established.
