The article analyzes the features of modern terrorism and its impact on international relations and world politics. Terrorism, as a special type of aggression and violent acts, has existed for many centuries; however, in the modern world this phenomenon has acquired many different forms. Due to the process of globalization, terrorism exerts an increasing influence on all spheres of society.
