The article examines the main ideas of Sun Yat-sen's nationalism in the early years of his political activity (1893-1912). The main points of the evolution of his views are highlighted in chronological order. The relevance of the work on the theme of nationalism is due to the fact that in recent years in the PRC nationalist ideas often replace the communist ones as a single ideology that should consolidate the population of the country.
