        <p>This article considers the early Byzantine attempts of creation a system of Christian philosophy, which could act as replacement Origenism. Such authors as John Philoponus and Pseudo-Dionysius, although not able to establish a complete alternative to Origen’s legacy, however promoted development of Eastern Christian thought and were used later in the synthesis of Maximus the Confessor.</p>
